I wanted to write a quick blog regarding the end of the semester.
I always find myself in a rut towards the end of the semester.
You have a final for every class... and the tests are all within a weeks time.
It's fixing the portfolio for one class, where you're redoing, editing, and revising every piece of work from the entire class. It can be so stressful because sometimes you feel like your work is at it's best, or some of your works need more time than what you have. Some of the requirements for the work can be OUTRAGEOUS, and you just can't seem to get it all completed like you want to.
The exams that shouldn't be scary are. You have a large percentage of your grade riding on the final, and you're just praying that all of the studying will be enough.
How much studying is too much? Or not enough studying no matter what?
It's like everyone asks "do you think you're ready?" "do you think you studied enough?"
I don't think I have EVER been "ready" for an exam. I don't think that I have ever studied "enough", I always feel like there was more that I could do, but didn't have the time to do so.
People will say, "well it's best to study all semester long". In most cases, studying for the exams scattered throughout the semester is studying all semester long, but the finals are the scary exams.
Maybe it's the terminology. FINALs. The FINAL chance to do something about your grade.
It's just too much sometimes
